THIS IS A SECOND HAND ITEM AND WILL SHOW SIGNS OF WEAR
The KT71 is a popular manual tester, it is easy to use and easy to write test procedures around. Green and red LEDs show the pass or fail status at each test as well as the display showing the actual test result figure. These results rotate on the screen so that they can be documented after all the test sequence has been completed. To use, just turn the rotary dial to the test required, namely extension lead / IEC lead, Class I IT equipment, Other Class I, Class II or simply a run leakage test. Then connect up and press start.
Earth Bond Continuity: Test currents of 200mA DC or 20A AC
Measuring range: 0 – 15.00 ohms
Insulation Test: 250V or 500V DC Measuring range: 0.1 – 19.99 Mohms
Run-Leakage Test: 0.1mA to 9.9mA , >10mA
Polarity Test: Continuity < 10ohms (on Extension Lead Test only)
