With over 20 years of industry experience, our CPD Certified PAT Training Course is designed to give beginners and those requiring a refresher the knowledge and practical skills needed to carry out Portable Appliance Testing with confidence.

Held on the last Friday of every month at our Wisbech Training Centre, this one-day course combines theory, practical training and assessment, providing hands-on experience with PAT testing equipment in a supportive learning environment.

Led by our friendly and experienced instructors, the course takes you through the principles of PAT Testing step-by-step, beginning with theory, progressing to practical exercises and concluding with an assessment session.

Delivered in small groups, every candidate benefits from personal tuition and guidance throughout the day. Whether you’re a landlord, business owner, facilities manager or simply looking to develop a new skill, our training is designed to help you gain confidence in PAT testing procedures and best practices.

No. Everything is provided for you on the day, including all training materials and PAT testing equipment. Lunch and refreshments are also included, and tea and coffee making facilities are available throughout the day. Simply arrive ready to learn and we’ll take care of the rest.

Yes. This course is suitable for qualified electricians who wish to expand their services, refresh their knowledge or gain confidence in PAT testing procedures and best practices.

Yes. We supply a range of PAT testers, labels and accessories suitable for both beginners and experienced users. Customers who purchase a PAT tester before attending the course receive a £50 training voucher towards their PAT Training Course booking.

Our one-day PAT Training Course takes place on the last Friday of every month at our offices and training centre, located at 11 Crab Marsh, Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, PE13 3JG. The course begins at 9:00am and we recommend arriving 10 minutes early to allow time to settle in and prepare for the day.

Yes. We have free on-site parking available for all attendees, making it easy to access the course on the day.

 

No. To successfully complete the course, candidates must pass a multiple-choice assessment at the end of the day. If you do not achieve a pass mark on your first attempt, your instructor will review the areas you struggled with and provide the opportunity to retake the assessment on the same day.

Our training room is located on the first floor and is accessed via stairs. If you have any accessibility requirements or concerns, please contact us before booking and we will do our best to discuss suitable arrangements where possible.
