Product Description:
With a sizeable 100mm vane, the Testo 417 Vane Anemometer is the perfect instrument for measuring the performance of heating, ventilation and air-conditioning thanks to its ability to measure air flow speed, volume flow and air temperature. The vane measures wind speeds from 0.3m/s to 20m/s (thereby calculating volume flow from 0 to 99999m3/h) whilst the NTC air temperature sensor range goes from 0 to +50℃ and comes equipped with a 100mm vane to ensure results are quickly calculated
The Testo 417 automatically detects air-flow direction and shows results clearly on its backlit LCD screen. Both volume flow and flow speed are shown once the user has input the duct area and there is also the option to toggle between air flow speed and air temperature. The device has advanced measurement features mean and allows for timed point average calculation.
Overall, the Testo 417’s high degree of accuracy and advanced measurement features make it perfect for HVAC applications whilst the user also benefits from the screen’s clarity and a 2-year warranty.

Testo Smart App
The Testo Smart App supports the user being able to configure the measuring instrument. Users are able to view graphical measure value curve. Using a smart device with the downloaded app, users are able to turn their smart device into a second screen.
The Testo Smart App allows for operation, measurement and documentation of all compatible Bluetooth enabled Testo measuring instruments. With its intuitive measurement menus, quick configuration, the Testo Smart App is simple to use and allows for uncomplicated documentation to be completed. Measurements can be found quickly and easily with data shown in graphical and tabular curve display.
The App allows for data to be stored alongside customer information. Reports can be easily generated, including photos as PDF/CSV files and emailed directly from the smart device to colleagues or customers.
Data can be transferred to a PC using Testo’s PC software DataControl. The App benefits from continuous updates and extensions
