Product Details:
The Chauvin Arnoux CA6292 200A Digital Micro Ohmmeter can safely test resistance up to 1Ω with a maximum resolution of just 0.1µΩ thanks to a fully adjustable test current from 20A to 200A. Tests at up to 100A can have an unlimited duration for comprehensive testing. There are also automatic test currents of 50A, 100A, 150A and 200A for speedy testing. The micro ohmmeter can be used in a range of industries and has multiple applications across rail, maintenance, metallurgy and manufacturing.
Measuring resistance with the Chauvin Arnoux CA6292 is very safe thanks to its ‘both sides grounded’ (BSG) testing method which has earths on both sides of the circuit or object under test (requires optional MR 6292 current clamp). This negates any inductive phenomena and the optional clamp can also measure current between 1 and 50A DC. Reliability is enhanced by the four-wire measurement method which produces accuracy of ±1%.
Results are shown on the four-line, backlit display and up to 8,000 measurements can be stored in the Chauvin Arnoux CA6292’s internal memory. Measurement information can then be downloaded to a PC via the supplied USB cable. From there, Chauvin Arnoux DataView® software can be used for analysis and reporting. Operation is undertaken via a simple dial and push-button interface or through a PC.
The Chauvin Arnoux CA6292 comes supplied with a full range of accessories and the manufacturer provides a 12-month warranty. The waterproof casing and an internal cooling system on the instrument make sure it is suitable for a wide range of challenging environments and further protect the user.

- UK orders: placed by 2:00 PM Monday–Friday are usually dispatched the same day.
- International orders: placed by 2:00 PM Monday–Thursday are usually dispatched the same day.
Orders placed after these times are processed the next working day. This means delivery may occur the following day or later, depending on the courier and service selected.
Once dispatched, your chosen delivery service determines how quickly your parcel arrives:
- Standard services We use Royal Mail Tracked 24 or DHL Parcel as our ‘Standard’ services. They are not guaranteed to arrive next working day.
- Premium services (e.g. Royal Mail Special Delivery or DHL by Noon) offer guaranteed delivery windows.
If your order is time-sensitive, we strongly recommend choosing a guaranteed service or contacting us before ordering to confirm availability.
