The Martindale BZ201 Industrial Socket Tester provides a fast and effective solution for identifying potentially unsafe installations and wiring faults. It is an ideal service tool for checking outlets prior to installing new plant and equipment.

This listing allows you to select either the 16A or 32A version, both fitted with a 230V industrial plug to BS EN IEC 60309-1. Designed for single-phase industrial applications, the BZ201 delivers quick visual and audible confirmation of correct wiring, helping engineers and contractors work efficiently and safely.

Applications:

Wiring faults are instantly indicated by one or more LEDs failing to illuminate — a fail-safe approach designed to identify 28 fault conditions through the pattern of lit LEDs. A clear lookup chart on the tester enables quick diagnosis of common faults.

An integrated audible sounder confirms correct wiring, which is particularly useful when checking sockets that are not easily visible or located in difficult-to-access areas.

In addition, the BZ201 checks mains voltage level, providing high and low voltage indication for added safety and reassurance during testing.
