The Chauvin Arnoux CA5277 True RMS Digital Multimeter is the highest-specification model in the CA5270 series, designed for professional testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and inspection applications. Delivering exceptional precision and advanced diagnostic capabilities, the CA5277 combines True RMS AC+DC measurement technology with a high-speed 12-bit converter capable of performing up to 5 measurements per second for accurate readings on both linear and non-linear signals.

Engineered for demanding electrical environments, the CA5277 measures AC/DC voltage up to 1000V, AC/DC current up to 10A, resistance up to 60MΩ, frequency up to 50kHz, capacitance up to 60mF, and temperature from -59.6°C to 1200°C. It also includes continuity and diode testing, alongside a specialised ionisation current measurement range from 0.2µA to 20µA, ideal for testing flame detectors, smoke detectors, and similar systems.

The large dual 6,000-count backlit display features a bi-mode analogue bar graph with central zero for clear visualisation of fluctuating measurements. Advanced functions including Min/Max recording, Relative and Differential measurements, and 1ms Peak+/Peak- capture provide deeper insight into waveform distortion, transient events, and harmonic disturbances.

Designed with safety and durability in mind, the CA5277 is CAT IV 600V and CAT III 1000V rated, with IP54 ingress protection against dust and splashes.
