The Chauvin Arnoux LOCAT-N C.A 6681 Cable Locator is comprised of two elements, the C.A 6681E Transmitter and C.A 6681R Receiver. Together they can be used to perform an array of functions which can be utilised by electricians, plumbers, heating engineers and telecommunication specialists. Some of the tasks this product can aid an electrician in completing are:

Further to this, the transmitter and receiver can both display bar graphs and their respective, remaining battery lives (the receiver will also display the transmitter’s battery life in addition to its own).

The C.A6881E Transmitter and C.A 6681R Receiver are both easy-to-use and allow the user to access various modes and functions. The C.A 6681E Transmitter can be used to adjust the output power and change the transmission code, whilst the C.A 6681R Receiver allows the user to adjust the sensitivity of the automatic and manual detection, as well as select either the cable detection or mains-voltage detection modes.

The C.A 6681R Receiver also has large function buttons, adding to the product’s ease-of-use.

Another feature present on the receiver is that it will display the measured signal both in the form of a value and in the form of a bar chart which uses acoustic signals, whose amplitudes vary in proportion to the signal distance, to display the signal details.
