Fluke 1625-2 Kit Advanced GEO Earth Ground Tester Kit

The upgraded version of Fluke’s original 1625 earth tester, the 1625-2 improves on the functionality of the original model and is faster, easier-to-use and comes with additional functions.

Compact and designed for use on the move (including in outdoor applications thanks to IP56 classification), the 1625-2 can perform 3 and 4 pole fall of potential earth resistance loop testing, 4 pole soil resistivity, selective earth ground rod testing (using 1 clamp) and stakeless earth ground rod testing using 2 clamps

Featuring built-in memory, the 1625-2 can store up to 1500 individual records internally and can also download to PC via the use of a dedicated USB port. The tester is also highly accurate, has special wire reels which speed up setup/removal by up to 50% when benchmarked against similar testers and even has colour-coded wires to make setup that much easier.

Stakeless earth ground measurement testing

  • You can also perform earth ground tests in places you’ve not considered before: inside buildings, power pylons, or anywhere you don’t have access to soil
  • The Fluke 1625-2 earth ground tester can measure earth ground loop resistances using only clamps
  • With this test method, two clamps are placed around the earth ground rod and each are connected to the tester

The Fluke 1625-2 improves your earth ground testing process with:

  • Automatic Frequency Control (AFC) – identifies existing interference and chooses a measurement frequency to minimize its effect, providing more accurate earth ground value
  • R* measurement – calculates earth ground impedance at 55 Hz to more accurately reflect the earth ground resistance that a fault-to earth ground would see
  • Adjustable limits – for quicker testing

We work with both Royal Mail and DHL to offer reliable and flexible delivery across the UK:

  • Royal Mail – Best suited for lighter parcels and for customers in remote regions, including the Highlands, Islands, and Northern Ireland.
  • DHL – Ideal for most mainland UK orders, providing fast, tracked delivery and excellent reliability for time-sensitive shipments.

We aim to dispatch all in-stock orders promptly, but delivery depends on both when you order and which service you select.

  • UK orders: placed by 2:00 PM Monday–Friday are usually dispatched the same day.
  • International orders: placed by 2:00 PM Monday–Thursday are usually dispatched the same day.

Orders placed after these times are processed the next working day. This means delivery may occur the following day or later, depending on the courier and service selected.

Once dispatched, your chosen delivery service determines how quickly your parcel arrives:

  • Standard services We use Royal Mail Tracked 24 or DHL Parcel as our ‘Standard’ services. They are not guaranteed to arrive next working day.
  • Premium services (e.g. Royal Mail Special Delivery or DHL by Noon) offer guaranteed delivery windows.

If your order is time-sensitive, we strongly recommend choosing a guaranteed service or contacting us before ordering to confirm availability.
