Fluke 381 Remote Display True RMS Clamp Meter

Product Details:

The Fluke 381 Remote Display True RMS Clamp Meter combines impressive measurement functions with a sophisticated remote display system. The 34mm hard-jaw clamp can measure AC/DC current up to 999.9A and AC/DC voltage can be measured between 0 and 1000V. Other measurement options include frequency (5 to 500.0Hz) and resistance (0 to 60kΩ) and Inrush current allows the user to assess current readings during system start up phases

In addition to hard-jaw measurement, the Fluke 381 is also supplied with a i2500-18 iFlex Flexible Current Probe which offers easier access to awkward cables, measurement of larger cables, and a greater AC current measuring range via its flexible 18” wire coil. The current range goes up to 2500A AC with the iFlex clamp which has a 1.8m connecting lead with the 381 itself, thus adding even more flexibility.

The choice of clamps and large measurement ranges are not the only impressive things about the Fluke 381. The completely detachable backlit screen can communicate wirelessly with the main module up to a distance of 10m which allows the user to assess current, voltage, resistance or frequency remotely, thereby improving safety in awkward or hazardous conditions. A warning light on the the main instrument lights up when unsafe voltage is detected and the product is safety rated as Cat IV to 600V and Cat III to 1000V so it is extremely safe.

The main Fluke 381 body has simple dial operation whilst the detachable screen has both hold and min/max/avg recording at the push of a button. The product is supplied with test leads, probe tips and crocodile clips as well as a soft carry case and batteries.
