Description

Fluke T6-1000 Voltage and Continuity Current Tester with Case

Product Details:

Measure voltage … without test leads

Fluke has listened to their customer and their problems with electrical boxes jammed with wires being challenging when you’re trying to find a safe metallic contact point. Now, with Fluke’s T6-600 or T6-1000 with integrated FieldSense technology, you can think no more of this problem and take measurements by sliding the open fork over a conductor to see the voltage level without the need for test leads.

  •  Measure voltage to 1000 V ac through the open fork, without test leads.
  •  No need to open covers or remove wire nuts.
  •  Simultaneously measure voltage and current.
  •  17.8 mm open fork is widest in the industry; measure up to 200 A on 4/0 wires (120 mm2).
  • Go beyond simple detection. Actually, measure ac voltage and current values without test leads.

Key Features:

  • FieldSense technology for ac voltage, current, and frequency measurement without making electrical contact to live voltage
  • Simultaneous voltage and current display – shows all power supply measurements at a glance for efficient troubleshooting
  • 1 to 1000 V ac or dc (T6-1000)
  • 0.1 to 200 A ac
  • True-RMS voltage and current
  • Resistance 1 Ω to 100 kΩ
  • Frequency measurement 45 Hz to 66 Hz
  • Works with wires up to AWG 4/0 (120 mm2) with a 17.8 mm jaw opening
  • HOLD button temporarily freezes the reading for easy viewing
  • Easy to read display with backlight
  • Accepts optional Fluke TPAK Magnetic Meter Hanger for convenient operation
  • Standard two-year warranty (extendable to 4 years through product registration within 45 days of purchase)

Why use this electrical tester?

Electricians often work in boxes jammed with wires, where finding a safe metallic contact point can be a challenge. With this tester they can take measurements by sliding a single wire into the open fork.

How FieldSense works

FieldSense technology is truly a breakthrough in how voltage is measured. While other open fork testers detect a magnetic field to show ac current, FieldSense technology detects an electrical field. This field interacts with a reference signal created by the tester, creating a voltage value on the tester’s display.

Tips: FieldSense technology

Do not hold or touch wire you are testing during a measurement. Use the black probe to make the ground connection if:

  • Wearing gloves or insulated footwear
  • Standing on an insulated ladder
  • Additional ground contact is required for the application

FieldSense measurement looks like this when properly grounded:

  • Display color turns green
  • Display shows a valid measurement >16 V rather than dashes or 0.0
  • Shows for measurement ≥30 V

Fluke PRV240FS Proving Unit with Magnetic Hanger

Product Details:

The Fluke PRV240FS Proving Unit has been designed to prove the functionality of T6 Electrical Testers and their FieldSense measurement function. It can also be used to test high impedance multimeters and clamp meters.

Maintaining the user’s safety and the T6 Electrical Tester with FieldSense and/or high impedance product’s accuracy of measurement are the main purposes of this proving unit. Designed to perform Test Before Touch (TBT) tests, the user can check their T6 Tester, high impedance multimeter and/or clamp meter against a known voltage before and after using these tools to conduct electrical tests. This product is extremely useful if a known voltage source is not available and reduces the need for personal protective equipment (PPE).*

This simple-to-use proving unit operates via a single switch and uses LEDs to indicate the functionality of the tester’s  FieldSense (no-test-lead) voltage measurement and standard AC/DC (with test lead) voltage measurement.

It sources its AC and DC voltage through a central hub, intended to test the T6 FieldSense open fork, and recessed contacts which are activated when test probes are inserted, providing a steady-state AC/DC voltage supply of up to 240 V.

The Fluke PRV240FS Proving Unit is extremely practical; it includes a TPAK magnetic hanging strap and four AA batteries capable of withstanding 2000 tests before needing to be replaced.  This product is a simple, practical solution to complying with TBT verification, reducing the user’s risk of exposure to shock and arc flash.

Key Features:

  • Designed to perform TBT (Test Before Touch) tests on Fluke’s T6 Electrical Testers, FieldSense measurement functions, and other high impedance products, including multimeters and clamp meters
  • Provides a known voltage against which the user can test his/her product before and after use
  • Reduces the need for PPE (personal protective equipment)*
  • Simple-to-use, single switch operation
  • LEDs indicate the functionality of Fluke T6 Electrical Tester’s test lead measurement of AC and DC voltage, as well as the FieldSense no-test-lead AC voltage measurement function
  • Sources AC and DC voltage through a central hub and recessed contacts activated via the insertion of test probes
  • Provides a steady-state AC/DC voltage up to 240V
  • Comes with a TPAK magnetic hanging strap
  • Long battery life – 4 AA batteries capable of withstanding 2000 tests (10-second test average) before needing to be replaced
  • Reduces the risk of exposure to shock and arc flash

⏱ Dispatch & Delivery Timing

We aim to dispatch all in-stock orders promptly, but delivery depends on both when you order and which service you select.

  • UK orders: placed by 2:00 PM Monday–Friday are usually dispatched the same day.
  • International orders: placed by 2:00 PM Monday–Thursday are usually dispatched the same day.

Orders placed after these times are processed the next working day. This means delivery may occur the following day or later, depending on the courier and service selected.

Once dispatched, your chosen delivery service determines how quickly your parcel arrives:

  • Standard services We use Royal Mail Tracked 24 or DHL Parcel as our ‘Standard’ services. They are not guaranteed to arrive next working day.
  • Premium services (e.g. Royal Mail Special Delivery or DHL by Noon) offer guaranteed delivery windows.

If your order is time-sensitive, we strongly recommend choosing a guaranteed service or contacting us before ordering to confirm availability.

Please note: For logistical reasons, we may occasionally adjust the delivery method selected at checkout. For example, smaller items may be better suited to letterbox-friendly packaging or may be at greater risk of delay or loss via certain services. We actively monitor courier and postal service disruptions—including strikes and delays—and may modify shipping arrangements to help ensure timely and secure delivery.

📅 Busy Periods & Delays

We always aim to dispatch promptly, but delivery times may be affected by:

  • Seasonal demand (e.g. Christmas, bank holidays, or industry shutdowns)
  • Courier network delays outside our control
  • Supplier lead times or calibration requirements for certain equipment

If your delivery is time-critical, please contact us before ordering so we can confirm stock and courier availability.
