Product Details:
The Metrel MI2883 Energy Master Class S Power Quality Analyser is a handheld datalogger designed to measure a wide range of variables to assess the efficiency of an electrical power supply. It can also identify irregular consumption patterns, helping to reduce energy costs and prevent production losses due to faulty equipment. Depending on the memory card capacity, the analyser can remain in place for over a year, making it ideal for monitoring power correction systems, performing long-term analysis, supporting preventative maintenance, and verifying system capacity.
The Metrel MI2883 features True RMS (TRMS) measurement for voltage (3-channel) and current (4-channel), including peak values and crest factor. It also measures various power metrics such as active, non-active, fundamental, harmonic, and load imbalance, all in compliance with IEEE 1459. Power factor (cosφ) is also calculated.
Additional analysis capabilities include temperature measurement, harmonic and interharmonic analysis up to the 50th order, Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) measurement, as well as unbalance and flicker measurement. All power quality analysis functions conform to the EN 50160 standard, and the analyser can detect power supply events such as shutdowns, interruptions, swells, and dips.
The Metrel MI2883 allows up to 7 adjustable alarms to notify the user of specific issues, with events saved to its internal memory. The device comes with an 8GB micro-SD card that can store thousands of results and is capable of automatically recognizing and configuring up to four attached smart clamps.
Despite its comprehensive measurement and analysis capabilities, the Metrel MI2883 is user-friendly, featuring a large display and intuitive menu. It also includes Metrel’s PC SW PowerView3 Software for easy data transfer and the creation of professional test reports.
The Metrel MI2883 is available in two set options. The standard set includes test probes, crocodile clips, an 8GB micro-SD card, PC SW PowerView3 software, a USB cable, and a carry case. The Eurotest version adds three Metrel A1227 one-phase flexible current clamps with a range of up to 3000A.

- UK orders: placed by 2:00 PM Monday–Friday are usually dispatched the same day.
- International orders: placed by 2:00 PM Monday–Thursday are usually dispatched the same day.
Orders placed after these times are processed the next working day. This means delivery may occur the following day or later, depending on the courier and service selected.
Once dispatched, your chosen delivery service determines how quickly your parcel arrives:
- Standard services We use Royal Mail Tracked 24 or DHL Parcel as our ‘Standard’ services. They are not guaranteed to arrive next working day.
- Premium services (e.g. Royal Mail Special Delivery or DHL by Noon) offer guaranteed delivery windows.
