- The three instruments in the testo 770 clamp meter family are ideally suited for current measurement in switching cabinets. One of the two pincer arms can be fully retracted into the instrument. This unique grab mechanism means that cables in tight switching cabinets can be easily grabbed. The automatic measurement parameter detection also ensures reliable work: in the current and voltage area, all three instruments detect direct and alternating current and select other parameters such as resistance, continuity, diode and capacitance automatically.
- The testo 770-1 model is the standard version for daily measuring tasks, including starting current measurement.
- The testo 770-2 also has a μA range as well as an integrated temperature adapter for all type K thermocouples.
- In addition to that, the testo 770-3 includes real-time power measurements (Watts), Power Factor, and Bluetooth. The free Testo Smart App can be used for remote viewing, monitoring, data logging, and creating reports via Bluetooth. The powerful app allows you to create custom reports that include photos, data, and graphs that can be saved or sent via email.

This is the only model in the Testo 770 series which includes Bluetooth wireless connectivity to Testo’s SmartProbes app. With this, you can send measurement results wirelessly from the clamp meter to your smartphone or tablet running the app to view results in real-time at a distance or to create professional reports in the field with a few taps on your touchscreen.
The Testo 770-3 also has improved current measurement range and can test both AC/DC current from 0.1 to 600A. It’s also the only product in the series with the ability to carry out power measurements.
The Testo 770-3 also functions as a true RMS, high accuracy digital multimeter. With this clamp meter, you’ll be able to test voltage, μA current, resistance, frequency, capacitance, temperature, continuity and diode. Thanks to Testo’s unique auto measurement mode, the meter is smart enough to figure out exactly what you’re testing and will adjust itself accordingly so you get the right results.
