Description

Fluke T6-1000 Voltage and Continuity Current Tester with Case

Product Details:

Measure voltage … without test leads

Fluke has listened to their customer and their problems with electrical boxes jammed with wires being challenging when you’re trying to find a safe metallic contact point. Now, with Fluke’s T6-600 or T6-1000 with integrated FieldSense technology, you can think no more of this problem and take measurements by sliding the open fork over a conductor to see the voltage level without the need for test leads.

  •  Measure voltage to 1000 V ac through the open fork, without test leads.
  •  No need to open covers or remove wire nuts.
  •  Simultaneously measure voltage and current.
  •  17.8 mm open fork is widest in the industry; measure up to 200 A on 4/0 wires (120 mm2).
  • Go beyond simple detection. Actually, measure ac voltage and current values without test leads.

Key Features:

  • FieldSense technology for ac voltage, current, and frequency measurement without making electrical contact to live voltage
  • Simultaneous voltage and current display – shows all power supply measurements at a glance for efficient troubleshooting
  • 1 to 1000 V ac or dc (T6-1000)
  • 0.1 to 200 A ac
  • True-RMS voltage and current
  • Resistance 1 Ω to 100 kΩ
  • Frequency measurement 45 Hz to 66 Hz
  • Works with wires up to AWG 4/0 (120 mm2) with a 17.8 mm jaw opening
  • HOLD button temporarily freezes the reading for easy viewing
  • Easy to read display with backlight
  • Accepts optional Fluke TPAK Magnetic Meter Hanger for convenient operation
  • Standard two-year warranty (extendable to 4 years through product registration within 45 days of purchase)

Why use this electrical tester?

Electricians often work in boxes jammed with wires, where finding a safe metallic contact point can be a challenge. With this tester they can take measurements by sliding a single wire into the open fork.

How FieldSense works

FieldSense technology is truly a breakthrough in how voltage is measured. While other open fork testers detect a magnetic field to show ac current, FieldSense technology detects an electrical field. This field interacts with a reference signal created by the tester, creating a voltage value on the tester’s display.

Tips: FieldSense technology

Do not hold or touch wire you are testing during a measurement. Use the black probe to make the ground connection if:

  • Wearing gloves or insulated footwear
  • Standing on an insulated ladder
  • Additional ground contact is required for the application

FieldSense measurement looks like this when properly grounded:

  • Display color turns green
  • Display shows a valid measurement >16 V rather than dashes or 0.0
  • Shows for measurement ≥30 V

Accuracy[1]: ± ( [ % of reading] [number of least significant digits] ). Accuracy is specified for 1 year after calibration, at 18 °C to 28 °C (64 °F to 82 °F) with relative humidity to 90 %. AC measurements are ac-coupled, RMS responding.
Accuracy[2]: Add 3 % without an external ground connection. External ground connection required for user wearing insulated gloves, standing on an insulated ladder, or otherwise insulated from earth ground.
Accuracy[3]: FieldSense is specified from 16 V to 100 % of range.

📦 UK Delivery Options

We work with both Royal Mail and DHL to offer reliable and flexible delivery across the UK:

  • Royal Mail – Best suited for lighter parcels and for customers in remote regions, including the Highlands, Islands, and Northern Ireland.
  • DHL – Ideal for most mainland UK orders, providing fast, tracked delivery and excellent reliability for time-sensitive shipments.

Our checkout system automatically displays the available delivery services for your postcode and order weight, ensuring you always see the most suitable options.

Note: Heavy, bulky, or freight-only orders will be charged separately.
Our website is designed for quick, transactional purchases rather than bulk or palletised orders.
Please contact us in advance for a tailored freight quotation if your order falls into this category.

⏱ Dispatch & Delivery Timing

We aim to dispatch all in-stock orders promptly, but delivery depends on both when you order and which service you select.

  • UK orders: placed by 2:00 PM Monday–Friday are usually dispatched the same day.
  • International orders: placed by 2:00 PM Monday–Thursday are usually dispatched the same day.

Orders placed after these times are processed the next working day. This means delivery may occur the following day or later, depending on the courier and service selected.

Once dispatched, your chosen delivery service determines how quickly your parcel arrives:

  • Standard services We use Royal Mail Tracked 24 or DHL Parcel as our ‘Standard’ services. They are not guaranteed to arrive next working day.
  • Premium services (e.g. Royal Mail Special Delivery or DHL by Noon) offer guaranteed delivery windows.

If your order is time-sensitive, we strongly recommend choosing a guaranteed service or contacting us before ordering to confirm availability.

Please note: For logistical reasons, we may occasionally adjust the delivery method selected at checkout. For example, smaller items may be better suited to letterbox-friendly packaging or may be at greater risk of delay or loss via certain services. We actively monitor courier and postal service disruptions—including strikes and delays—and may modify shipping arrangements to help ensure timely and secure delivery.

📅 Busy Periods & Delays

We always aim to dispatch promptly, but delivery times may be affected by:

  • Seasonal demand (e.g. Christmas, bank holidays, or industry shutdowns)
  • Courier network delays outside our control
  • Supplier lead times or calibration requirements for certain equipment

If your delivery is time-critical, please contact us before ordering so we can confirm stock and courier availability.

🌍 International Shipping
