The Megger MIT485/2 Insulation Tester is a highly advanced, compact device tailored for professionals in telecommunications and cable testing. This tester features a three-terminal connection for simultaneous connections with A, B, and E test leads. Users can select the correct pair directly via the on-screen interface without needing to swap wires. It also functions as a traditional two-terminal device, offering additional flexibility. Pre-set test voltages of 50V, 100V, 250V, and 500V simplify operations, with an option for custom voltage settings between 10V and 500V. Dynamic results are displayed through a moving ‘analogue’ arc, and tests automatically time out for added safety.

Equipped with advanced safety mechanisms, the device automatically detects voltage and halts testing if user-defined limits are exceeded. An insulation buzzer alerts the user if insulation exceeds preset limits, customizable for individual needs.
